A central figure in the transition from Rhythm & Blues to Rock & Roll, Bo Diddley released “Who Do You Love?” in 1956. I first heard this song when he re-recorded it for the La Bamba soundtrack, which I listened to often.
It doesn’t get more badass than barbed wire, rattlesnakes, human skulls, tombstones and graveyards.
