#32 - Crushin' - Fat Boys

If I had the data of all the albums I’ve ever listened to and the number of times I listened to them, I’m fairly confident that Fat Boy’s Crushin’ would be in the top ten. Probably even top five. I had it on cassette tape and it spent a lot of time in young cwbowron’s Walkman. Even through college, I would occasionally listen to it while walking to class in the mornings to get pumped up.

Looking back from 2019, it’s hard to believe that there was a time when the Fat Boys were famous enough to record with the Beach Boys, get a starring role in a mainstream film, and write a theme song for a Freddy Krueger movie. History may not remember the Fat Boys, but I always will.
