After yesterday’s live version of “Running Scared”, I have retroactively decided to do a week’s worth of live and concert recordings.
Today’s song from 1964 features Jerry Lee Lewis after his fall from grace. Marrying your 13 year old cousin will do that. Recorded live at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany, it is one of the greatest rock and roll records ever made and one of the greatest live albums. It’s just one of the best albums out there.
The man could play a mean piano. Turn up the volume and have a listen.
