In 2011, some years after the fame of their hit single The Freshmen and debut album The Villains, Verve Pipe released an album of family friendly tracks entitled A Family Album. If you have children or just enjoy good music, check it out. It’s not your traditional children’s music. This track is my favorite song.
Verve Pipe is my favorite underrated band and I’ve seen them many times. A few years ago they performed a free outdoor concert at the East Lansing Public Library. My wife and I took our daughter and we all enjoyed it.
Verve Pipe is still doing concerts, mostly their adult catalog, but occasionally they also do children’s shows. Whatever they are playing, it’s a good time. Brian Vander Ark, the lead singer and principal song writer, also does solo performances.
