I was recently golfing with a guy who was bumping The Egpytian Lover’s cover of “I Need a Freak”. I had heard the original version by Sexual Harassment and the Too $hort cover, but not that version. I listened to some more of The Egyptian Lover’s catalog and his biggest song was today’s song, “Egypt, Egypt”. I was suprised that I had not heard of him before because I am pretty familiar with hip hop from that era.
