Dolly Parton is a national treasure. I had the fortune of seeing Dolly Parton live in concert in Interlochen, but I was too young to appreciate how great she is. Apart from her beautiful singing, Dolly Parton is an extremely active philanthropist through her charity. Particularly focused on childhood literacy, she has donated over 100 million books to children.
